8:33 p.m. - 2004-03-02 I've sort of had a lot lately to bitch about and no one to bitch too. So's life sometimes. I'm actually surprised at how well my edit is going on the book. There is this nice girl that's helping me by giving a writers view of it. Which is great. She's pointed out some very serious things that I missed. Okay they aren't that serious. But stuff that I look at and go "duh, stupid, how'd you miss that". But yeah I missed it. Anyway, I've been doing some editing myself of late. Real editing now that I have a working laptop again. I spent nearly an hour editing two chapters today. Made a lot of cuts and changes to clean up some of the writing. Yeah this book has some work to go. Oh I tried to order contacts the other day and was told I can't until I go get another eye exam. Federal law now. Great, cause the last time I went to get a check up I paid $70 for them to tell me nothing had changed. What kind of bull shit is that? Cause yeah I have $70 laying around for an exam I don't need, not to mention the time it takes to get it. And another $70 for the cost of the contacts. This world is sooooo fucking screwed up.
